Great way to see the city. Our guide, Darlene, was very informative and also gave us great tips on what to see and do while here.

Our tour guide Andrea was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the dark history of the city.

Great fun and lots of historic information. The guide talked REALLY fast. If I concentrated, I could follow, but I felt sorry for the folks in the group whose first language wasn't English. I'm sure they did not understand half of it.

Being from Philly myself, I’ve always known the city, but I realized I had never really taken the time to be a tourist and truly explore it. With family coming from around the tri-state area, this was the perfect opportunity for us to experience Philadelphia together in a completely different way.We walked away with an even greater appreciation for the city, its incredible history, and all the stories that make Philadelphia so special. Andy, our guide, was fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and able to answer all of our questions. What impressed us most was his genuine love and admiration for Philadelphia, even though he isn’t originally from the city. His enthusiasm was contagious and really added to the experience.We laughed, learned, explored, and had a great time as a family. It was one of those experiences that reminds you that sometimes you can live near or even in a city and still have so much left to discover.Absolutely a 5-star experience! We would highly recommend this tour to both visitors and locals who want to see Philly from a different perspective. Andy was an amazing guide, and we’re so glad we booked this experience!

This is experience is a must for anyone interested in American history. Russ did an amazing job of explaining the complexities of the founding of the United States. He has an incredible background in history and made the tour come alive with facts and stories. It was a wonderful experience.

We truly enjoyed this 2.5 hour Philadelphia History tour. Our tour guide, Carla, was awesome. She was friendly and professional and very knowledgeable. We learned so much that we never knew or had forgotten about Philadelphia’s role in the birth of our nation. She made an effort to find places for us to sit in the shade while she talked and gave us lots of opportunities to ask questions. I would highly recommend this tour to begin your trip to Philly.

Chuck was great. Loved his ability to share his connection to the shops and through it tell a story of people and community unfolding before you. Highlight of tour was hearing from Basil DeLuca, the "King of the Meatballs" at DeLuca's Villa di Roma. And having tastings while seeing how a community thrives through food and entrepreneurship... fun way to spend a few hours.

Chuck was a great tour guide. My group was pleasantly surprised by the experience. It was great food and a lot of fun stories about the history. I was nervous about booking because there was not a ton of information about where to meet. However, we met at the park and Chuck was great about contacting those who he did not immediately find by phone. We would definitely do this again. The cannolis were a hit!
