Top things to do in Philadelphia in Summer (Updated September 2026)

What a great evening! This tour was informative, funny, spooky, and a bit spicy, all my favorite things. I’ll never think of certain founding fathers the same way again. Special shout out to my witty and wonderful tour guide, Brittni! And her Grandma Geanie too!

Tiffany was a superb guide! It's obvious she loves her city. Our favorite spot was Miller's Twist for the Philly cheesesteak in a soft pretzel bun.

Good overview of historical sights while sitting and relaxing the views. Tom was very informative. We stayed on for the whole tour. Our BYOB tour was cancelled and this tour was probably as good, if not better.

Our tour guide was Russ who is extremely knowledgeable about the history before, during and after the revolution. He welcomed and encouraged us for asking questions. He made history interesting that you wanted more. He selected places where we could sit and or rest in the shade. Russ, had several books that he recommended that told more about the person and or time period. Russ is an excellent tour guide polite, funny, respectful and off the chart knowledge. We give Russ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I go to a dark history or ghost tour in every city I visit and this was by far the most interesting and informative I’ve been on. Tons of history packed into 2 hours. Ted was great and was very fun. If I ever come back to Philly with friends I’m taking them on this tour!

Had a lovely tour with Elizabeth! She was very informative and enthusiastic about history, which made for a great tour. She took us all throughout Old City and pointed out so many things that my husband and I did not know despite us having lived in Philly for a few years now. We had such a great time and would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Philadelphia and even for the locals!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and had many stories to share. A great way to learn about Philly!

This tour was both fun and educational. Our favorite stop was actually the Vietnamese restaurant for the prok Banh Mi with the tomato pie stop being a close second. My husband is lactose intolerant and the guide was able to swap the gelato for a coffee. This small accommodation made all the difference in our experience. Would highly recommend this tour.

Barry was a wonderful guide - very knowledgeable and great sense of humor. I would book another tour with him if in ever back in the area.

The team was really sweet and welcoming, as well as the pilot himself. The photographer’s photo quality was out of this world, we’re gonna blow our pictures up and frame them to make the memory of his birthday last as long as possible.
