My friends and I had such a wonderful experience taking this History of Money & Inflation Tour. This was my first time visiting Philadelphia, and Brian made the history come alive in a way that was engaging, fascinating, and approachable. He was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the history he was sharing. What I especially loved was how well the tour worked for both history buffs (like my husband) and relative novices (like myself).We saw all of the major highlights of Old City Philadelphia, but the tour went beyond simply checking off classic American landmarks. It gave a the deeper historical context and brought it full circle by explaining how that history helped shape the current state of inflation and our economy today. It was a great, fun way to spend the morning while also being educational and highly relevant!Great tour, I highly recommend, thanks again!

Super underrated, interesting topic and a gracious, passionate guide!Do you know why gold was used as money? What the Bank of the United States was and why it ceased to exist? Where do we get the term “greenback” and why do the years 1907 and 1913 live in infamy?Brian does and his enthusiasm shines through on a walk by some lesser-known —- but no less important — sites. You would definitely be rewarding yourself (maybe even financially) to check out this tour that explores how money has worked from colonial days through today.

Our walking adventure was amazing! We had about 12 people and the walk lasted around 3 hours at a slower paced walk through shaded places in midAugust. Tom was our guide and provided so much information and insight into our history! He was relaxed and adapted to our groups humor and answered questions. We asked for our tour to be Marine Corps focused and it was delivered! We had an amazing time visiting the birthplace of our Marine Corps and the United States! It was so amazing I wish it had been longer!

I found this an excellent way to "see the city" in an afternoon. I was in town for a conference and had one afternoon free to explore once the conference ended and I needed to head home. I really liked the convenience of the app using my location data to begin it's narrative. I liked that I could go at my own pace and jump around to shops/cafes along the way as I desired. The stories were interesting, I learned a lot and nearly a year later have not deleted this app from my phone yet as I intend on using it at other places I'm fortunate enough to visit.

The Fife and Drum of 1776,welcomes you as you enter Philadelphia-the city where Our Founding Fathers declared Independence from Britain and King George. My wife and I were here in the beginning of June-on the cusp of July 4th-the 250th Anniversary of Our Country. As you walk down the streets of this amazing city, especially the historic sections, you can feel the past intertwining with the present. If you close your eyes, for a brief moment, you can see Paul Revere riding through the streets, crying out, "The British are coming." You can hear Our Liberty Bell ringing, loudly, in its highest church. You can sit with Betsy Ross and watch as she diligently sews the 13 stars on Our Country's first flag. You can join the representatives of our 13 states sitting at there desks or standing tall, in Independence Hall, as they verbally share with one another why we need Our Freedom from Britain's tyrannical rule. For that brief moment in time, Our Country's history will come alive for you, in all its wonderful glory. If you are truly lucky to be in Philadelphia on July 4th,be ready to witness all the Reenactments of "1776" that will take place; all the Patriotism that will grab hold of you-making you feel proud to be An American and all the fireworks you'll see-as they light up the evening sky, in a multitude of magnificent colors with an emphasis on The Reds, The Whites and The Blues.
