Liberty Bell Center Tours

I go to a dark history or ghost tour in every city I visit and this was by far the most interesting and informative I’ve been on. Tons of history packed into 2 hours. Ted was great and was very fun. If I ever come back to Philly with friends I’m taking them on this tour!

Had a lovely tour with Elizabeth! She was very informative and enthusiastic about history, which made for a great tour. She took us all throughout Old City and pointed out so many things that my husband and I did not know despite us having lived in Philly for a few years now. We had such a great time and would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Philadelphia and even for the locals!

Brittni was an absolutely fabulous guide! Her historical knowledge was fantastic and she didn't hide the ugly truths of our past to highlight the highs. Loved that she talked about real history with the good people did and the bad. Currently, there is a push to make our history all look like positives with no nuance. I'm glad she gave us all the spectrum. Her passion for history and stories really came through.

Brian was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Independence Hall and Liberty Bell. My brother and I enjoyed the walking tour. An extra bonus is our tour guide Brian worked to keep the group in the shade on a sunny Philadelphia afternoon.

I had the most amazing tour with Tiffany who was so knowledgeable not only about the food but also about the history and culture the 3 hours flew by. Superb value for money.

Great choice and sequencing of activities. All enhanced by a wonderful friendly guide, Oscar. We deliberated about taking a day out of our time in New York, but are delighted we did. Do this trip! It was remarkably good and great value for money.

Great tour! Our guide was amazing and so full of information. We went on labor day and the Terminal market was closed, but we enjoyed the sights

My friends and I had such a wonderful experience taking this History of Money & Inflation Tour. This was my first time visiting Philadelphia, and Brian made the history come alive in a way that was engaging, fascinating, and approachable. He was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the history he was sharing. What I especially loved was how well the tour worked for both history buffs (like my husband) and relative novices (like myself).We saw all of the major highlights of Old City Philadelphia, but the tour went beyond simply checking off classic American landmarks. It gave a the deeper historical context and brought it full circle by explaining how that history helped shape the current state of inflation and our economy today. It was a great, fun way to spend the morning while also being educational and highly relevant!Great tour, I highly recommend, thanks again!

Super underrated, interesting topic and a gracious, passionate guide!Do you know why gold was used as money? What the Bank of the United States was and why it ceased to exist? Where do we get the term “greenback” and why do the years 1907 and 1913 live in infamy?Brian does and his enthusiasm shines through on a walk by some lesser-known —- but no less important — sites. You would definitely be rewarding yourself (maybe even financially) to check out this tour that explores how money has worked from colonial days through today.

Tour guide was great - very informative and personable. We learned a lot and really enjoyed ourselves.

I rode the Hop On Hop Off bus in Philadelphia recently and had a good experience. The guide was knowledgeable and pointed out so many points of interest. It’s a good way to see a city with much less walking.

Our tour guide Mark was wonderful. We had a great time. High recommend if you would really like to know the city instead of just walking around the three blocks downtown.
